Bilstein gas pressure shock absorbers are available in a wide variety of sizes and stiffness settings, depending upon the vehicle type and use. All Bilstein Shock Absorbers instantaneously self-adjust to changing road surfaces; in addition, their performance does not gradually decline from age, use or heat, requiring no compensating manual adjustments as with conventional multi-tube shocks. The shocks feature a 46mm digressive piston with self-adjusting deflective disc valving. 5160 SERIES – Remote Reservoir Shock
Bilstein 5160 Series Stock Mount Remote Reservoir Shocks are direct-fit to each specific vehicle application, avoiding the fabrication generally associated with being able to run a high performance reservoir shock. The monotube shocks feature a 46mm digressive piston with selfadjusting deflective disc valving. Benefits of the reservoir include increased cooling capacity and increased shock travel.
